Biography
My art is a journey across the frontiers of space and time, where the veil between worlds is merely an illusion for the initiated, where the subjects of one era are but reflections of another. Pigments, transformed into a softly rigid substance, are crushed onto the linen, and through these assemblages of miniature sculptures, a wavering narrative of luminous darkness takes shape.

Born in 1991 in Annecy, France, I have been drawing since early childhood, and art has always been an integral part of my life. I grew up surrounded by the masterpieces of Dalí, Caravaggio, Rembrandt, Bosch… painters who shaped my gaze and fueled my imagination.
At the age of 12, I created my first pastel portraits, finding joy in working with this medium. In 2011, I entered the world of advertising as a freelance photo retoucher. I quickly became a photographer and image creator, producing national advertising campaigns in France and Switzerland. My advertising work.
Alongside my work in advertising, I have been developing an artistic project using photography since 2015. I stage the antique objects I collect, guided by my imagination and current events.
My approach to lighting, inspired by the chiaroscuro of the 17th century, is based on a complex technique: each final image is the result of assembling 100 to 200 photographs taken by candlelight or with a small light source.

In 2023, a journey to Naples marked a turning point in my life. Standing before Caravaggio’s The Martyrdom of Saint Ursula, I had a revelation: I had to become a painter and bring my artistic universe to life through oil painting. Without a teacher, I embarked on this journey alone. I bought my first tubes of paint, a multitude of art books, studied the techniques of the masters, and began to paint.
The distinctive depth of oil painting allows me to breathe life into my artistic vision.
